Michael Chernow. Owner of The Meatball Shop.

August, 2011.

I shot this as part of a men’s portrait series in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for Working Class Magazine. When Michael showed up at my apartment, he instantly had me swooning. Before long, I learned he was married, and found myself face to face with a solid 20 seconds of heartbreak. But the show must go on.

If you live in New York City, I’d recommend stopping by The Meatball Shop. There’s one in the Lower East Side, and another in Williamsburg. Be prepared to wait. But that should attest to how delicious it is.
